Virginity is the ‘purity myth’ wrapped into whatever false ideals of beauty and cleanliness we have in our social structure. This is why we don’t even have a word for non-virgins. Lexical gap the ignorant like to fill up with slut and sex shaming vocabulary (or lack there of).

Um.  Actually, virginity is a real thing.  It’s the associations with virginity and sexuality that society has created.
